Overview of a creative process Author and director of an arts centre in digital arts, TOPO, Michel Lefebvre will present his experience as a producer of several VR projects in collaboration with a mix of neurodiverse and neurotypical people, in 2017-2018. Whitout any previous knowledge about autism and the VR production technologies, TOPO leaded an exploration process with the artist Annick Daigneault and the film director Martine Asselin, two mother of autist kids who first produced a VR clip illustrating how an autist kid could behave listening to his mother. With a mixed group of neurodiverse collaborators, we created the projects using analog and digital technologies.

The themes and interests of each other were discussed and resulted in creative workshops with analog and digital drawings, basic writings and research, scripting, scrapbooking, clay modeling, collage, sound recordings, stop motion, 360 video capture, 3D design and programming.
The creative process involved a lot of people. Key programmers had close relations to autist persons and gently contributed to the project. Another organism, Spectrum Productions, is a media art production Studio working specifically with autist people. Now at the dissemination stage, this project raises a lot of interest from the social, educational, and medical communities.
